I tested Claire Saffitz's malted forever brownies! Her brownie recipe from her new cookbook Dessert Person has gotten so much attention so I had to give it try myself. These brownies are easy to make all in one bowl and taste so rich and fudgy. If you have any baking questions leave them down below. Enjoy 🙂
Brownie ingredients:
1/4 cup (20g) cocoa powder
1/4 cup boiling water
5 ounces (142g) semisweet chocolate (recipe recommends 64-68%)
6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter
1/4 cup (56g) neutral oil
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup 100g) dark brown sugar
1 whole egg
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cups (100g) all purpose flour
2 tablespoons (18g) malted milk powder (I use chocolate malted milk powder)
1 teaspoon (3g) salt
6 ounces (170g) milk chocolate (wafers)
Bake at 350F 25-30 minutes
