BROWNIE recipe from Dessert Person – Testing Claire Saffitz’s malted forever brownies

I tested Claire Saffitz's ! Her brownie recipe from her new cookbook Dessert Person has gotten so much attention so I had give it myself. These brownies are easy to all in one bowl and taste so rich and fudgy. If you have any questions leave them down below. Enjoy 🙂

Brownie :
1/4 cup (20g) cocoa powder
1/4 cup boiling water
5 ounces (142g) semisweet chocolate (recipe recommends 64-68%)
6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter
1/4 cup (56g) neutral oil
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1/2 cup 100g) dark brown sugar
1 egg
2 egg yolks
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cups (100g) all purpose flour
2 tablespoons (18g) malted milk powder (I use chocolate malted milk powder)
1 teaspoon (3g) salt
6 ounces (170g) milk chocolate (wafers)

Bake at 350F 25-30 minutes

    I have the chocolate malt mix too. It has added sugar whereas the plain does not.
    I am glad you felt they were not overly sweet. Going to try them. Thanks
