lol

Place a large brownie mix into a bowl.
Add in 1/2 cup sliced almonds 1 tsp almond extract and two eggs.
Pour in one 19oz can of cherry pie filling.
Stir together until well combined.
Pour/scoop into an 8×8″ baking dish lined with greased aluminum foil.
Top with additional 1/4 of sliced almonds.
Bake at 350 F for 25-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or just a few moist crumbs.

I can’t for the life of me find where I found this recipe. I think it was on the Betty Crocker website.

These have a weird, spongy, rubbery, mochi-like texture that I didn’t enjoy. The flavour was good though.

I’ve always appreciated how honest you are when you’re not thrilled with a recipe, but I think this is the first time I’ve ever seen “Meh.” right in the title. I’ll pass on this one.

those cherries look like they had an awful lot of corn syrup in them, probably why the texture was off

Maybe using a few jars of drained Maraschinos would be good.
