I’m a hardcore frosting fan, so I’ve never been interested in the “naked
cake” phase. However, this one almost tempts me. The brownie aspect puts it
    in a whole different level!

was because I didn’t have anymore sugar. it’s awesome.

Wow that is a wonderful looking layered cake ! I love how you decorated it
Gretchen and it doesn’t squish when you cut it which is one thing that
drives me mad when cutting cakes.

I must admit I was very surprised at the Jello addition! But if you use it,
    why not.

  28. persis mehta on May 1, 2016: (Reply)

While not everyone’s cup of tea, what would make this even better would be
to slightly soak each layer with some Chambord Raspberry Liqueur before
spreading the jam. (I like really moist cake).

  33. LAURA SANTANA on May 1, 2016: (Reply)

Dejar Gretchen, what Would be your recipe for the best decadent, moist,
    spongy, and delicious chocolate cake?

  34. T Anidjar on May 1, 2016: (Reply)

I would have to skip the Jello pudim because of the gelatin in it which is
made from pigs feet, not Kosher. I use Ultra Gel to stabilize my whipping
cream which is made from corn. Besides that it looks fantastic.

  35. Ana Lemus on May 1, 2016: (Reply)
