(Can be Dairy Free & Gluten Free)

Ingredients Needed:
I can of Black Beans
1/4 Cup Coco Powder
10-12 Tablespoons or 3/4 of a cup Stevia (or any other sweetener)
1/2 Cup of Apple Sauce
3 Eggs (or 9 egg whites)
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Pinch of Salt
Chocolate Chips (as many as want!)
*This is where you’ll need to adjust if you’re gluten free & dairy free!

Step 1:
Preheat oven to 350
Blend all of the ingredients (aside from chips) together in a processor/blender until smooth
for 30 minutes, check on it, and check on it 5 minute increments until a knife/toothpick comes out clean from the center, or the sides of the brownies are coming up from the pan
Cool for 15-30 minutes before cutting
I have a difficult time cutting these, as they don’t have flour, and I’m so I’ve just accepted that they’ll look a lil’ funky but still taste SO good!

a tip on how to get them out easier is maybe line it with baking paper
instead that way you can pull the baking paper out of the pan then use the
spatula to get them onto a plate, i don’t know if it’ll work for these
brownies but it works for my normal ones, oh i cut them whilst there still
in the pan though. sorry if that doesn’t really make sense and i cant wait
to make these they look really yummy!

  14. run2flygurl on March 19, 2013: (Reply)

Lol it’s probably not super important for this recipe, but for a lot of
baked goods (particularly ones with flour, leavening, and ratios of white
to brown sugar) actually measuring is super important. Cooking is the
creative part of food; baking is like chemistry (but with yummier results)!

I just made these and they turned out freaking amazing! I used hot
chocolate powder instead of coco powder, and I just didn’t add a sweetener
(because the hot chocolate powder is already sweetened). I used 88% dark
chocolate chips and sprinkled almonds on top. Definitely making them again,
they’re so good! Plus, I hate black beans, and I couldn’t taste them at
    all.

  42. divalish1 on April 19, 2013: (Reply)

Word!!!! I pretty much have all of the ingredients in my kitchen! But can I

For anyone who can’t eat eggs: substitute by grinding (in a blender) 1 tbsp
ground flax seed and 3 tbsp water for each egg.

  44. cath4410 on April 21, 2013: (Reply)

Something that would help would be whipping up the egg whites until they
form stiff peaks and then folding them in to create more air so it will
balance out the denseness of the beans and they will come out fluffier and
    light (:

If you want them to come out cleaner try taking a bit of margarine or
butter and spreading a really thin layer along the bottom. Then dust a bit
    of flour over that.

Instead of spraying pam , put butter on the battam of the pan take any kind
of flour lay it in the pan. Make sure that the flour is spread ALL over the
pan corners , edges everything. Throw out the extra flour and thats it .
The brownies/cake slip right out. Just take a butter knife and go all
around to ensure the cake and pan aren’t close to each other

  67. Sophie Saucedo on June 6, 2013: (Reply)

  69. jambajoe1730 on June 9, 2013: (Reply)

The easiest way to get the brownies to come out perfectly shaped is tin
foil! line the pan before you put in the batter and then give them 5 mins
to cool in the pan and then you can pull the whole thing out to cool the
rest of the way on the counter before cutting

  70. Paola C on June 11, 2013: (Reply)

  72. hiphopgirl5542 on June 30, 2013: (Reply)

a tip for making then cut out cleanly is to put a baking sheet on the pan
and grease is a little also let the baking sheet hang off the sides so u
can pull them out the let them cool then cut them with a knife 🙂

  73. SmartWaterAddictx on July 1, 2013: (Reply)

I just made these but since the batter was so runny I added about 2 tbsp of
coconut flour and after cooling around 10-15 minutes they came out of the
pan easily and they ended up so fudgy and slightly cake-like. Soooo amazing!

one thing to help with them getting messed up is to use real butter u can
get the low fattening butter and also use a square pan

  88. Hannah Munn on October 25, 2013: (Reply)

u could aĺso try making white chocalate chip cookies and uae whole wheat

Meghan! Maybe if you put non-stick baking paper on the bottom of the dish
that you use but make sure that you have some sticking out the sides … So
When the brownie is ready all you have to do is lift the brownie out by
holding the baking paper and it will come out really easy and then you can
cut it once you have removed it from the pan … Also it will make cleaning
    up easier!!!

  92. Jasmine Hidalgo on February 2, 2014: (Reply)

  93. Raghad Fathaddin on February 16, 2014: (Reply)

OMG I tried that and it is so good , mine was perfect like it did not break

  98. Lucky Blessed on November 17, 2014: (Reply)

Yes I did this recipe from another website. What you can do is boil some
water with 1 cup of confectioners sugar, and let it boil a few minutes. It
become somewhat like a syrup texture. You then spoon some of the liquid
over the brownies to give it a moist and extra sweet flavor. It will stay
    moist for days!!!
