Bob’s Red Mill makes GF oats for anyone who was wondering. I am a diabetic
and I love the no sugar aspect, naturally. Artificial sugar replacements
    are sooo bad for you!

    the extra protein 🙂

Go for it, girl! I’ve never tried it that way, but don’t be afraid to
experiment and follow your intuition in regards to proportions. Best way to
find out is to just try it 🙂

  40. getfitwithleyla on September 23, 2013: (Reply)

I suppose you could try using any other liquid oil.. I’ve never tried it
that way, but I’m sure it would turn out just as good 🙂

  41. getfitwithleyla on September 23, 2013: (Reply)

them in the fridge ’till this morning and tried the first bit after my
morning work-out. i think I’ve died and gone to heaven for that moment!
Un-be-lievably delicious! Thank you so much for this recipe, I’ll be
eternally in your debt for this <3 <3 <3 BTW: I didn't have any oats, so I
    used buckwheat flakes instead 🙂

    Is flaxseed good in smoothies???

  55. Marmaseuth on October 2, 2013: (Reply)

I just made this with toasted hazelnuts and it was great !!!

  56. Crista Kampert on October 2, 2013: (Reply)

I didn´t know oats where raw… Can I use buckwheat or rice oats, because
    their are gluten free

  57. toowaker37 on October 3, 2013: (Reply)

Oats aren’t raw. They are rolled via a high temperature steam roller at the
factory. All oats begin their life as a very hard oat groat, you ain’t
gonna eat them raw ever unless you want to give you dentist a lot of money
for repairs. The coconut oil is pure saturated fat..the kind that clogs
arteries. This is an extremely fattening snack.

  58. toowaker37 on October 3, 2013: (Reply)

No flaxseeds tend to be too gritty. You might try soaking ground flaxseed
for 24 hours before adding it to your smoothies.

  59. ggilliaannnnnnn on October 4, 2013: (Reply)

the health risk im seeing too much fiber so there are risk for to much
fiber and raw is always using nuts u make flour out of nuts and
dehydration, that’s a lot of fiber.

  89. Zoe Poulos on June 10, 2014: (Reply)

Just made these! Hands down the best brownie I have ever had both vegan and
    non vegan!!!

  90. agworldoflove on June 28, 2014: (Reply)

Oats, or anything that is wheat (cereal, mush, ect.) are not raw vegan. Raw
vegans can only eat fruits, vegetables, and the occasional seed or nut. A
substitute for oats can be raw, wheat free, washed quinoa. I have never
tried this with quinoa but I heard it tasted the same. I don’t know though.
I am not trying to sound rude, just sharing my knowledge :)

  91. FeñaMusic on June 28, 2014: (Reply)

OMG! I have to do thisssss :D

What food processor are you using?

  94. XyntXII on July 23, 2014: (Reply)

… you guys know, that cacao (in this form) is actually not really raw,
since it is not only fermented but also roasted (grided and then oil is
extrated while you use the powdery rest) .
even though i find raw vegan “cooking” shows quite interesting i am still
quite surprised by their existance because it is so counterintuitive.
sorry if i offended anyone just to clearify i think it is one healthy way
    to eat

  95. Emma Anne on July 29, 2014: (Reply)

you could also add carob powder for a chocolatey taste!

    yummy!!!

  98. victoria arnstein on September 14, 2014: (Reply)

looks good, but oats are raw? hmmm, how about coconut or almonds turned
    into flour?

  99. 9Lene6 on September 16, 2014: (Reply)

Ohh man! For once I have all of the ingredients, but except for one… a
food processor. D; is it possible to use a blender?
