Oooh, like so many of the commenters before me, I recommend checking out
the street food. So worth it.
Now may not be the best time to visit our city, though… >.<

Trying to make these, but I don’t see an amount for the flour in the
Brownie Mix! You’re all so delectable, but what I would really like is a
yummy Red Velvet Oreo Brownie Bar!

I am a hongkonger and you guy definetly should go to try 菠蘿包(it is
so-called pineapple bun in english i think), 砵仔糕i think you may rarely seen
in your country, that is a great red bean pudding. Most of the street food
are actually the best cuisine in hong kong, make sure you dont miss them
while you are walking down the street.
Hope you can enjoy a nice trip in HK! :D

OMGGG you guys need to go eat tau fu fah (bean curd dessert), bo lo bao
(pineapple bun), tau sar bao (red bean bun), xiao long bao (soup filled
dumpling with meat), and the hong kong pancake thing that i totally forgot
the name of. You also need to try the bubble milk tea from gong cha. ITS
AMAZING cos you can control the sugar levels etc. gong cha also has a
variety of other drinks and toppings (you can put black sesame and have it
with matcha green tea for example). YOU GUYS ALSO NEEEEEEDDD to eat egg
tarts. not the gross chewy ones from a indoor shop. you need to go to a
famous market and get fresh flaky egg tarts. also eat loh por peng (chinese
wife’s cake), it contains a sort of past with a flaky outside. you also
need to get that from a market. HAVE FUN EATINGGG!!! i know i do everytime
i go to hong kong!!! (: xoxoxoxo

  42. Erica Lee on October 18, 2014: (Reply)

  71. syrinx32 on October 31, 2014: (Reply)

Just a question since I am not familiar with “Red Velvet Cake”: is there
anything special about it except for the colour? Because if so, I don’t
quite grasp what is so special about it…

  72. 이서연 on October 31, 2014: (Reply)

Where did you got that tin? I really want to know.

  73. Prathe Chandru on November 1, 2014: (Reply)

Hey! How did you guys manage to get the bars with icing out of the tin
after putting them in the fridge!?!?!?!

  74. flippy0721 on November 1, 2014: (Reply)

You didn’t end your cooking by saying “Sorted” or did you?

  75. Alexis Fried on November 2, 2014: (Reply)

I think i would have done it a bit differently. I would have poured the
brownie mix into one tin and the red velvet cake mix into another identical
tin. Then i would spread the Oreo icing in between the two bars and cover
the “stack” or “sandwich” with the ganache.
