I've been doing a lot of baking with the boys during self-quarantine, so today I'm going to show you how to make one of our favourite recipes: black bean brownies! If you try them, let me know in the comments! ❤️
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a strainer, rinse one can of black beans with warm water
2. Add to blender
3. Add 1/4 cup of maple syrup
4. Add 1/4 cup of coconut sugar
5. Melt 1/3 cup of coconut oil and pour into blender
6. Blend
7. Melt 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips (you can also substitute this for cocoa powder- same amount!)
8. Add 1.4 teaspoon of salt to blended mixture
9. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
10. Add your cup of 1/4 melted dark chocolate chips
11. Add 1.4 teaspoon of baking powder
12. Blend again
13. Crack 2 large eggs into blender
14. Blend again
15. Add extra dark chocolate chips (optional)
16. Mix by hand
17. Pour into 8×8 inch greased pan
18. Add dark chocolate chips sprinkled on top of batter
19. Bake for 25-30 mins at 350 degrees F
20. Let brownies cool, then enjoy!!
