These gluten-free brownies are pure fudgy, chocolaty goodness. You will never want to make any other brownie recipe again!
The Fudgiest Gluten-Free Brownies Ever
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Servings: 16 squares
¼ cup rolled oats
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp baking powder
½ cup natural peanut butter (Get a free jar of my absolutely favorite peanut butter to try yourself here: http://thrv.me/healthyhints-jpeanutbutter)
½ cup unsweetened apple sauce
¼ cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 oz dark chocolate, melted (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 ºF.
In a food processor add the rolled oats, cocoa powder and baking powder and grind to fine powder.
Transfer into a large bowl and set aside.
In the food processor add the egg, peanut butter, apple sauce, honey and vanilla extract and blend until smooth.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into an 8×8 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper and smooth with spatula. Bake for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and drizzle with melted chocolate if using.
Cool completely before slicing.
