York Peppermint Brownies
There is a special place in my heart for York peppermint patties; they a brownie special the way no peppermint extract can.
  1. ⅔ cup flour
  2. ½ teaspoon baking soda
  3. ½ teaspoon salt
  4. 2 tablespoons unsalted
  5. ½ cup granulated sugar
  6. 2 tablespoons water
  7. 1½ cups semi-sweet (OR DARK!!!) chips
  8. 2 eggs
  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla
  10. 16 snack size York Peppermint Patties
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 325. an 8 X 8 baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the and whisk in the sugar and water until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the chips until melted.
  5. Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  6. Gradually mix in the flour mixture.
  7. Pour half of your into the prepared pan and then line up bite sized York Peppermint Patties.
  8. Pour the rest of the batter over the brownies.
  9. for 30-35 minutes.
