Lemon Brownies
When life gives you lemons, make lemon brownies!
  1. 3/4 C flour
  2. 3/4 C sugar
  3. 1/4 t salt
  4. 1 stick butter, soft
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 1 Tablesppon of Lemon juice
  7. zest from 1/2 lemon (about 1t)
  1. 1/2C powdered sugar
  2. 1 T lemon juice
  3. additional
  1. Combine the flour, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Mix in the softened butter.
  3. In another bowl whisk the eggs with the lemon juice and zest.
  4. Add to the larger bowl and mix well.
  5. Pour into prepared 8X8 brownie pan.
  6. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  7. You can double the recipe and bake in a
  8. 9X13 pan for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove and let cool, then glaze.
  1. Stir ingredients together until blended.
