Turtle Brownies

If you love turtles (the chocolates), you'll LOVE these brownies!
  1. 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  2. 12 Tbs. unsalted butter (1 1/2 sticks)
  3. 3 eggs
  4. 1/2 C.
  5. 1 C. granulated
  6. 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  7. 1/2 C. + 2 Tbs. all purpose flour
  8. 1/4 tsp.
  1. 40 caramels
  2. 1/2 C. heavy whipping cream
  3. 2 C. pecan halves, toasted
Ganache Topping
  1. 2 oz. semi sweet chocolate
  2. 1/4 C. heavy whipping cream
  1. Melt chocolate and butter in a heat-proof bowl over boiling water. Set aside. In a medium-sized bowl, beat eggs and sugars until smooth. Add vanilla and chocolate mixture, beat well. Beat in flour and salt. Pur mixture into a 13x9-inch dish and bake 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until brownies are done. Set on wire rack to cool.
Caramel Topping
  1. Melt caramels and cream; bring to a boil. Stir in until fully covered. Pour over brownies. Put in refrigerator to set (when brownies are firm).
Ganache Topping
  1. Bring cream to a boil. Pour over chocolate (heat proof bowl). Wait 5 minutes, whisk until blended. Drizzle over brownies in a zig zag pattern
